Drive For Life: Okean Elzy Edition

Daily, millions of Ukrainians are risking their lives due to the ongoing hostilities limiting access to medical care in many areas of the country. Daily, we receive calls from medical units on the frontlines, and it's painfully clear that even 200 ambulances delivered through the Drive for Life project are not enough.  

According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, russia has damaged 1,642 medical facilities and destroyed 214. Over 570 ambulances have been impacted, either damaged, demolished, or captured. To be precise, just two hours of timely medical assistance can save several lives, with one crew alone capable of saving between 15 and 450 lives each month — impacting the lives of 36,000 Ukrainians affected by the war.  

Since 2022, our Open Eyes Fund has successfully provided 242 ambulances to 170 medical units. This autumn, in honor of the Okean Elzy band's 30th anniversary, we launch the Drive For Life: Okean Elzy Edition charity project which aims to raise $750k to provide 30 fully equipped ambulances, saving thousands of Ukrainians' lives.
