Iron for Life is a new Open Eyes project – and the next step in supporting the medical evacuation system. Drive for Life ambulances save lives. Iron for Life helps rebuild them.

Through the project, the fund provides partner hospitals with implants for surgery – from bone plates and screws to joint replacements and neurosurgical materials – each selected individually for the type of injury.

The programme supports everyone affected by russian aggression: civilians, including children, medics, rescue workers, and defenders. Already covering 17 medical facilities with plans to expand to over 30. The project enables 2 000 to 5 000 surgeries every year, with individual implant costs ranging from $500 to $7 000 depending on the procedure.

While one kind of iron destroys, ours heals – and brings people home, to live fully again. Back to their children, their parents, their loved ones – and to themselves.

Every surgery is more than medical care – it is hope, recovery, and a future restored.
